All, More pics from our trip... typical street in Madrid..so much to see! Everytime we walked down a street and looked down there would be so much to see. Their pastry shops are so great! I should have gained weight from all the empanadas I ate, but I actually lost weight...gotta love it! Below is the Alcazar of Segovia. It is managed by the Military. below is a picture of El Valle de los Caidos - El Escorial. It is closed for major renovations. I can't wait to go back. We had a great time in Madrid! Food was great, weather was a bit rainy and cold. We visited Toledo, Segovia, and Avila those are really beautiful cities. We spent a lot of time walking around Madrid getting to know the city. This is one of the entrances to the Plaza Mayor This is the Plaza de Castellano just up the road from Plaza de Colon.
